1. How can I join St. John’s Church? Contact the Church Office (410) 833-5300 and speak with Sue Housel. We are happy to walk you through the process and we are thrilled to have you join us!

2. Who do I talk with about getting flowers on the altar this Sunday in memory of my loved one?
Call the Parish office at (410) 833-5300 and speak with  Sue Housel. They will contact the Altar Guild for special requests. Suggested offering is $20.00.

3. My wife and I are interested in being buried in St. John’s Cemetery. Whom do I need to contact? Due to space limitations, only active members of St. John’s Church can purchase cemetery plots. Members may contact our Head of the Cemetery Committee, Bill McMillan (410) 429-2991 or Sue Housel, Parish Administrator (410) 833-5300.

4. What do I do if I, or my child, wishes to be married at St. John’s Church? As an active member, or a child of an active member, you are welcome to have your wedding at St. John’s Church. Wedding brochures are available in the church office  (410) 833-5300.

5. Does St. John’s have a Sunday School? Yes! We have a marvelous Funday School. It is held every Sunday, except the third Sunday of each month, for children ages 3-12 in the Parish Hall. No need to sign up, just bring your child to the Children’s Chapel at 10 a.m. and we will take it from there.

6. What if my child is under 3? Then you’re in luck! Miss Victoria Loizaga hosts a wonderful nursery time for kids from 0-3 in the first classroom at the top of the stairs in the Parish Hall.

7. What if I would like to teach Sunday School? Sunday School operates as a co-op at St. John’s and we are always thrilled to find teachers. Please contact the church officem (410) 833-5300 No experience necessary!

8. Does St. John’s have confirmation classes for youth and adults? Yes we do! Youth confirmation for kids ages 13 and up begins in September of each year, culminating in the confirmation in late Spring. Adult confirmation is open to anyone who wants to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church. Please contact the Church office for more information.

9. Is the Parish House available for rental? Yes! For more information, contact the Church office.

10. How can I get involved at St. John’s? You need not ask twice. We have numerous volunteer opportunities available. Please see the Vestry Commission list in this directory, including the various ministries. Every group has ample opportunities for you! Don’t be shy! Call one of the leaders!
