A Trip to Haiti in June?
Consider an adventure into the unique world of Haiti, the economically poorest country in the hemisphere, with rich art and music traditions, beautiful landscapes and a people of dignity who inspire hope and faith. The Episcopal Church first went to Haiti in the 1860’s. As brothers and sisters in the same church tradition, we have a unique opportunity, among folks who live very nearby (an hour and a half flight from Miami) to work together as partners in mission – they to us and us to them - respecting the dignity of everyone. Opportunities for ministry abound. Stephen has been working in Haiti since the 1970’s, Tracy since 1990. They travel to Haiti for a week each January and June. If you are interested, please let them know.
The next trip is June 11-18, 2008.
